Who’s ready to save some serious money? We all are, right? From coupons at the grocery store to garage sales on the weekend, we all have our favorite ways to give our budget a little boost during the month. And I’m about to share with you one of my favorite ways to save money on clothes.
As a mom of three young kids I feel like I am constantly shopping. It seems they are growing faster than I can dress them sometimes. We reuse a lot of my oldest daughters’ clothes for my youngest but that still leaves my oldest two. Plus, let’s not forget mom. 🙂 I may be a mom but I still love getting new clothes and sometimes it is hard to find room in the budget to squeeze that in.
I have to admit. I didn’t find this gem of a company on my own. My sister found it first and was a like a kid in a candy store. We had a wedding to go to and she shows up in this super cute and trendy dress.
Me: Oooh, I love that dress. When did you go shopping?
Sister: Thred-up for like $15!!!
WHAAAAAT?!?!?!? Now that I can do. The other awesome thing is that not only do they carry womens’ clothing but kids too. Thredup is an online store that carries previously worn clothing. But this isn’t your typical thrift store. The brands are awesome like Anthropologie, Free People, H&M, BCBG…the list goes on and on. And the quality is impeccable.
Look at some of this gorgeous H&M jacket! $11.99!!
Or this adorable kids cardigan for $15.99!!
One more…a perfect rain jacket for $13.99! This is Lands’ End!
You can’t beat this guys I’m telling you. It comes in this super cute box too. I don’t know why cute packaging makes me feel all cheery but it just does. At first it was a little hard to navigate just because they have so many options. I strongly suggest that you search through the filters so that you only see what applies to you. I hate finding something I love only to find out it is not my size. You can save the filters too so that each time you visit it is tailored to you.
I haven’t tried this part yet but you can also sell your clothes on Thredup as well. I know it has to be certain brands and of course great quality so that when I buy it I don’t have to send it back. Ha ha 😉
Stores offer great deals sometimes but I can’t always make it there during the sales and it takes a lot of time going place to place to find the best value. I sat on my couch after my kids were asleep to buy these items. Can’t beat that!
So what are you waiting for girls? Jump over to Thredup and check it out. Don’t forget to use the code HandM50 for 50% off H&M products! Let me know what you get and how you like it. See what great coupons are going on or maybe even free shipping! And you’re welcome for passing this along. You are going to love it!
