So it appears a lot of you like a recipe post. I want you to know that I am listening to you and I want this to be a blog you feel a part of and enjoy coming to. I’m going to start going through my favorite recipes, connecting with my favorite bloggers and interviewing family members to bring you what I think is the best of the best. I promise to do my very best to post at least one recipe a week so make sure to check in. If it is one you really like, please pin it so that your friends and families see it as well.
This week I am going to post a recipe from my mother-in-law. I like to use this as a side when we are grilling out. It is a super simple hashbrown casserole. And trust me, it is really good!
1 – 30 oz Shredded hashbrown potatoes
1 – 16 oz sour cream
2 cans Cream of Mushroom soup
1 package 8 oz mild or sharp cheddar cheese
1 sweet onion – finely diced
1/2-1 tsp pepper (I usually use the full teaspoon)
½ tsp salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Spray 9×13 dish with cooking spray
Mix all ingredients together saving some cheese for the top.
Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
Bake for an hour. Edges should begin to brown.
I am sure this recipe will be a favorite for you. Next week there will be a guest post with a perfect recipe for Memorial Day. Keep in touch through facebook, twitter, pinterest, and instagram for all of the latest post announcements.
