It is time for another bucket list. We will be closing the pool very soon and though we aren’t very happy about it, we are excited for the new season and what it brings. Where I live fall is a perfect season. In the summer some complain about the heat (not me!) and in the winter others complain about the cold and snow but no one complains about our fall weather. The climate is on point and the colors are stunning. As much as I love summer I must admit it is hard to compete with chili, football, boots and sweaters. The best part for the kids are all of the fun activities to enjoy. Hay rides, pumpkin patches, apple pies to name a few.
Our fall bucket list includes 20 activities that honestly I love as much as the kids do. I plan on sharing a few with you as we do them like our leaf crafts, apple pies and thankful tree. One of our fall bucket list items is to visit an indoor pool. Not typically a fall activity I know but it is a perfect way to mix things up and keep our swimming skills ready for the next year.
It is a must to visit a pumpkin patch and we found a great spot a couple of hours away. Check out this awesome fort made of hay bales!
I don’t have a picture but they also had homemade apple donuts that were well worth the trip. Oh my gosh! Heaven!
I have created a free printable of our fall bucket list so I’ll hope you join us this fall. Let me know what your favorites are and if you have a picture tag me on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with #fallbucketlist #Messes&Memories. I’ll try to remember to share a picture of those to die for apple donuts. I’d also love to hear what you add to the list!
